The LaborStrong JLC Speaker Social Media Giveaway (“Promotion”) is a promotion open to all legal residents of each state in the United States and the District of Columbia, who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence and are a member of a labor union. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. (“Official Rules”).
Promotion sponsored by LaborStrong., 1 Penn Plaza Suite 1410 New York, NY 10019. (“Sponsor”). The Promotion begins at 10:00AM ET on February 16,, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on February 22,, 2024. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, late, illegible or incomplete entries or any mechanical errors, typographical or printing errors. Employees, officers, directors of Sponsor and its affiliates, related parties and immediate families, and winners of previous contests by Sponsor within the previous six (6) months are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
To Enter: Entrants will automatically be entered into the Promotion by following @laborstronglive on Instagram, commenting the union they belong to, and tagging another union member account on the specified contest Instagram post. One entry limit per person during the Promotion Period. To be deemed valid, entries must be fully and accurately completed in accordance with the requirements imposed in these Official Rules. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or irregular in any way, or not in full compliance with the Official Rules are void.
Entry comments cannot contain any third party names, copyrighted works of others, or any material that is inappropriate, offensive, or obscene. Entries that do not comply with these requirements will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered for the prize. All decisions regarding entries will be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Selection: 150 winners will be selected from all eligible entries. Odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received and when entry was submitted. Winner will be notified by direct message by February 26th after the end of the noted selection date with instructions to claim the prize. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If necessary, an alternate winner will be determined in accordance with the procedures for selecting the original winner for the prize. Once the winner is verified and requirements have been met, the prize will be promptly awarded.
Prize: 150 winners will receive one (1) JBL Speaker each.
Release: All entrants by participating in this Promotion hereby release Instagram and its affiliates, representatives, employees, agents, licensees and assigns from all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or related to this Promotion. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
Conditions and Restrictions: All prizes will be awarded. No substitution or transfer of prizes, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, waiver of liability and publicity release, which must be returned within 15 days of notification of prize award, or prize award will be void and alternative winner may be selected from remaining eligible entrants. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. By participating, the winner consents to use of name, address and likeness for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to the Promotion. By entering, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, and release Sponsor and its agents and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, loss, death, or damage arising out of their participation in promotions and/or acceptance of any prize, and may require permission from employer to enter or accept the prize. Accordingly, entrants should check with their employer for any relevant policies. Any entries or acceptance of prize in violation of an employer’s rules, policies or without their consent may be deemed ineligible and subject to disqualification.
